Overview
An RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) parking system uses radio waves to automatically identify and authenticate vehicles as they approach entry/exit points — without any physical contact or the driver needing to stop.
Vehicles are fitted with RFID tags (windshield stickers or cards) that communicate with RFID readers mounted at entry/exit barriers. When an authorized vehicle approaches, the barrier opens automatically within milliseconds.

Process
Each authorized vehicle is assigned an RFID windshield tag or card linked to the vehicle registration in the system.
As the vehicle approaches (up to 10m away), the RFID reader detects and reads the tag frequency automatically.
The system cross-checks the tag ID against the authorized database — takes less than 50 milliseconds.
If authorized, the boom barrier opens automatically. The event is logged with timestamp, vehicle ID, and gate number.
